STRATEGIC PLANNING:

The analytical part of the process, the beginning, discovering what the organisation requires of its facility in terms of space and how best it could be utilised. Ensuring that all the required services in the office are allowed for.

  • Calculating exact space requirements per individual and per department, through the use of uptodate methods
  • Exploring how new ways of working and the influence of modern furniture systems, can be applied to the individual requirements of the client while being sensitive to budget constraints at all times.
  • Understanding the use of paper in the environment, how it is stored, being sensitive to the way that it is retrieved how long it should to be readily accessible.
  • Always ensuring that the information technology requirement is adequately covered.
  • Taking into account the importance of the project budget, assisting in the property negotiations wherever appropriate.

INTERIOR DESIGN :

  • The second part of the process involves taking a two dimensional facilities plan and converting it into a three dimensional space.
  • Applying exact finishes to the plan, specifying all the elements that will make up the overall environment.
  • Preparing proper drawings for each trade required to complete the project, i.e.. Furniture, fittings, finishes, lighting, electrical, data, ceilings, partitions, doors and facilities etc.
  • Preparing a comprehensive plan of action and then invite tenders suitable for contractors to carry out each trade required.
  • At an additional cost, we can create 3D Perspectives and/ or walkthroughs to help you the client see your development in a more readable manner.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION/MANAGEMENT :

  • The final part of the process, preparing time lines for each trade to ensure that all timing parameters are met.
  • Finalising the exact scope of work so that tenders can be adjudicated, possibly negotiated and awarded
  • The overall management of contractors and suppliers making sure that milestones are reached and the quality, time and budget requirements are adhered to.
